Good strategy game, a grind

Hunters 2 seems well done in many respects. Great graphics, music soundtrack(!) etc. I know my strategy skills are maybe not that good, but sometimes it is so heavily weighted towards the AI its not funny, its sad. If youre fighting aliens, they can traverse large distances to get to you quickly, but you get to poke along one square at a time. Totally screwed up wrong. Maybe (?) I could beat this level by grinding several older ones and daily challenges to get enough credits to buy or craft the best weapons and armor, but who wants to grind all day? Im sorry, I so want to continue playing, but I have no time to grind.
