Best game ever
Best game ever
Great turn-based game. Lots of fun and strategy. Im attempting to achieve without spending any extra money on upgrades.
I really enjoy the game. Its well balanced, has a very interesting mix of hunter abilities, different game play based on weaponry, etc. I have no idea why people are saying you cant progress without spending money - Ive finished the game twice and never bought a credit. Loot is usually better than most weapons, and unless youre trying to buy purple weapons on level 1 hunters, youll always have enough money to upgrade. You might not be able to buy every item that comes up, but thats part of a game like this! The only critiques I have are that the campaign could be longer (the daily missions are fine though) and it could use multiplayer (though it doesnt need it).
Great game, no full screen iPhone 5 support :[
Please update for iPhone 5/iPod 5 screens! This was THE game I played on mobile for a while, but it just doesnt work like it did when the screen isnt filled. If any of you are still at 4th gen, I definitely recommend this game
Greay
IAP dont really bother me in this game, as patience, replay of levels will give you credits to upgrade... Enjoy the daily challenges, various upgrade paths and choices... Overall, fun diversion for a few bucks.
The game is great the missions are repetitive but my main disappointment was when the detail said hundreds of new weapon I assumed it meant actual new weapons but its still a great game
Not freemium, rather nice rpg like xcom. Same as first in that leveling is slow and you will probably die alot. Can buy credits in the first as well, but patience and persistence will allow you to win in the end. Seems too many people believe that buying something means instant win, kids today are a tad spoiled IMO and give poor ratings to a great send up to classic turn based play. Wonderful gameplay allow quick battles to play for 10 to 15 minutes. Keep the updates and gameplay coming. Campaign could be a bit longer, but nice that you can reset it and still get additional rewards.
I love this game. I was a giant fan of the original hunters and this one is nothing but an improvement. A lot of people are saying that you need to pay to advance but i say that isnt true. Paying in fact feels almost like cheating. The progression is somewhat slow yes but it is very much possible. Its a very very fun game in general and i would recommend it to people who like tactics games like disgaea or fire emblem.
Great game! I dont know why people are complaining about buying credits. I finished in a few days without ever making an in app purchase. Just play the daily contracts to build skills and equipment. Wish list for Hunters 3: Multiplayer over wifi or internet Destructible terrain More campaign missions Longer level tree and higher level cap for characters Ability to fire rockets at empty spaces to splash damage Hand grenades Turn based simultaneous resolution
very better than the first episode, good job
One of the best turn based strategy games Ive ever played. There are in game purchases if you want to take short cuts, but you dont need them to play or enjoy the game. Seriously solid effort. Its Advance Wars meets Rainbow Six.
I love this game a lot, one thing is the talent build is not as good as hunters 1, and where did the equipment go, either way those arent big enough to make the game not worth it, amazing, and never mind the last 1 Star comment by sarcas.....something, all that is not true and Im sure that person is a low skilled gamer, which this game is fun but does not require eminence amount of skill, worth 5 star please rate and comment I want number 3
If you are a fan of strategy, tactics, or RPG hunters 2 is a "must own game". If you like the "great little war game" you will love this game. My only complaint is that the campaign is way too short... But they do 5 new side missions every day which keeps the fun rolling! Start out on easy, cause there is a steep learning curve.
Hunters 2 is definitely one of the best roleplaying games off all time. DEFINITELY WORTH $5.
It reminds me of D&D but someone decided, "Screw that! lets add rocket launchers and sniper rifles!" The campaign was a little short but not worth bringing down to four stars. The graphics reminded me a bit of StarCraft 2 though. Well worth the money And to all you complainers I got through the campaign on hardcore on hard difficultly without spending any more money than the original five dollars the level progression maybe a little slow and things may cost a lot, its not some little game that you play once in a while. I have 150 hours spent over about a year and a half and have never had to spend a single credit. If youre looking to just mess around with the game for a little bit, I personally dont think this is the right game for you. If you are a more serious gamer, this is on my top three. (To those of you that are having a hard time, buy a Hunter that has Survival and Vengeance then get the Sadism skill in Vengeance and the Last stand skill in Survival.)
Playing on an ipad2, w/ios 6 - i love this game! Its a nice balance of turn based strategy and RPG, exactly what I was looking for My only wish / complaint so far, is that I would like to listen to my own music in the background - but the app silences any other music. This is a nice improvement over the first version. The UI and controls are cleaner, and no longer glitchy. As for the complaints about the pricing format... Ive already gotten many hours of enjoyment from the game, and Ive only paid the original price, no add ons.
Great game, with good replay value.
The game consists of solid game mechanics, reminiscent of tabletop miniatures games like Warhammer 50k... But, for $5 I expect more than just 8 repetitive levels of campaign play. Sure, the five levels a day are an added bonus (and consist of most of my play), however... Lately those levels have been repeats. Two or three levels a day are levels for the week or even day before. Definitely needs expanding to make up for the cost.
